Adaptor lets you connect your ZuB3 terminated cable to most any other loudspeaker.

Event Adaptors are built using Zu Event Mk.II conductors.

Zu Event Adaptor connects to the speaker-end of your ZuB3 terminated speaker cable and allows you to quickly and easily use them with most any other non-Zu speakers.

This is the most transparent way to afford quick and easy changing of speaker-side connectors for any given loudspeaker connection. There is no sonic difference between Zu speaker cables terminated with Zu pure copper spades directly versus the exact same Zu speaker cable terminate with ZuB3 and then fitted with these adaptors.

ZuB3—Expand Your Options And Max Your Tone

All Zu speakers made save the entry-level Dirty Weekend (DW) line feature the ZuB3 connection. This connection is engineered around Zu’s B3 electromagnetic balanced speaker cable model. Zu has used the Neutrik™ Speak-On™ NL8 connector to facilitate the cable’s B3 design to pass through the speaker’s nameplate and continue on into Zu speakers that internally utilize the same cable design. The ZuB3 connection causes least disruption to electrodynamic characteristics of ZuB3.

What is ZuB3?

ZuB3 connection uses speakON NL8 connectors but with a specific pin-out arrangement. ZuB3 interface increases fidelity of Zu loudspeakers when matched with Zu cables that are so terminated. The mechanisms for this are reduced contact resistance compared to 5-way binding posts and improved surge/characteristic impedance matching of the loudspeaker cable and the loudspeaker’s internal cable.

The Zu Mission ZuB3 Adaptor allows loudspeaker cables that are terminated to fit the ZuB3 loudspeaker connection format to adapted and used with traditional 5-way loudspeaker binding posts.
