Method Subwoofer User Guide
The user’s manual for the Method Sub is published, linked from the product page, Downloads, and here. The manual has a how-to software focus.
The three presets pre-programed on the Method Sub work for many running Zu Method Bookshelf, DWX and DW floor-standing speakers, but there is huge potential for better integration with your rig, room and preference through the amplifier’s software. Method Sub uses the Hypex FusionAmp, which has a lot of high performance signal processing built in. But those not fluent with various hardware specific DSP might (will) have a rough initial go. Several customers that have plugged in and started poking around have experienced some frustration—the owner’s manual is written from the perspective of a new user.
Again, the software is powerful, but it is a departure from most hardware specific DSP applications. If you are used to slick GUI from the likes of Midas, Yamaha, Dante… there’s little similarity with the Hypex. But once accustomed to the three main pains within the Hypex software, changes are easy and they map well onto what you get in the real world.
To make changes within the Method Sub you need:

Hypex Filter Design software
