Does Zu Have An Upgrade Program?

Does Zu have an upgrade program?

There are two paths available to Zu loudspeaker owners—whole speaker trade-up, or parts upgrades.

(For current parts upgrades please see our Upgrades & DIY section. There, we outline the current upgrades by model. Note, not all Zu loudspeakers are supported with user serviceable upgrades. Upgrades offered are proven and are backed up with our 60-day guarantee and factory warranty.)

For whole speaker trade-up we offer the following price-paid to credit-issued percentage trade-in schedule:

≤   60 days | 100%
     90 days | 90%
   120 days | 80%
   150 days | 70%
   180 days | 60%
≥ 180 days | 50%

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Loudspeakers must have been purchased directly from Zu.

  • Day period is from the day new Zu speakers are delivered, to the day trade-up is initiated with Zu.

  • Percentage is based on the price paid for the loudspeaker excluding tax, shipping, or other such costs.

  • Credit percentages assume speakers being traded in are in excellent, or better, working order and condition. (Excellent condition: light marks, difficult to spot, no dings or scratches, no deformation to driver cones. Excellent condition generally reflects high-quality care.)

  • Damage that may happen in the return shipping of the trade-in pair is the risk of the owner.

  • Misrepresentation of speaker’s condition may void any agreement and shipping of the speakers back is at the expense and responsibility of the owner.
