DW-6 ClarityCap MR Capacitor Upgrade Kit has correct length leadouts that are prepped and terminated so you don’t have to mess with stripping, crimping or soldering.

Built with leadouts that are ready to connected to DW-6 speakers—no soldering, no stripping
Matched pair (0.2% or better) ClarityCap MR capacitors, from the same batch (no cross batch matching)
Capacitors are made in UK by ClarityCap for Zu Audio and measure 1.8" [40mm] long, 1" [25mm] diameter
New set of PTFE insulated silver-copper tweeter ground leads, ready for instillation, no soldering or stripping.
Syringe of Loctite™ SI-5900 adhesive, that you use to secure the ClarityCap MR capacitor to the back-center of the tweeter driver

How long will it take to do the change out?
2 hours of labor, 12 hours of letting the adhesive cure. Most will take about an hour to disassemble the pair of speakers, then another hour of labor to install and reassemble. This is a pretty easy swap out and the video is shot without much in editing, giving you a good idea of time and difficulty. What the video does not show is the overnight wait that you need to give the adhesive.

What are sound difference between the standard and the ClarityCap MR capacitor?
The ClarityCap MR capacitor when used in DW-6 creates a more relaxed and smooth sound all while raising resolution. The combination of reduced noise and improved transient response let you hear deeper into the sound field—improved stereophony, better timber of brass and percussion-heavy instruments, more revealing vocals, improved tone and color resolution of string-based instruments.
What capacitors came originally in my speakers?
Base model DW-6 come with non-exotic but good sounding IC™ polypropylene capacitors
DW-6 Superfly come with these ClarityCap MR capacitors as standard
DW-6 Supreme come with these Jupiter Copper Foil & Wax capacitors as standard. If you have Supreme, no need to buy this kit—you already have it installed
This capacitor upgrade kit is for DW-6 that have the standard polypropylene capacitors, or the DW-6 Superfly. If you have a base model DW-6, or the Superfly model, this kit will improve your sound.
