Stereos and their People—Ivy & Maddox

Ivy and Maddox. New place across form Weber State University

Ivy works part-time here at Zu, and also works with special needs kids. She grew up around music, playback systems and occasionally helping with a hi-fi trade-show. So when Ivy and Maddox were looking for a place, a good sounding space was part of the needs list.

Ivy’s college rig is full, rich and dense, with good drive. The stereo aspect is very good, especially when you sit in the low-slung lounge camp chair placed front and center.

Music Hall mmf-1.3 turntable
Marantz 2225 receiver
Zu Omen DW Mk.I loudspeakers
Zu Mission Mk.I cables throughout

Taste in music. Hip hop, classic rock, dance, interesting Americana… a bit of everything really. Prefers wax to files but isn’t religious about it.

Nice find on the new pad guys!
