Production Charges Forward

Good news, and sure it’s been said/quoted millions of times this week, but it really is the beginning of the end of the ills specific to this virus pandemic; which means our production and our suppliers are ramping things up and looking and planning for the return to optimistic. What’s normal anyway, and who cares about typical, and if I have to hear the alternate word to normality one more time….

Right, the production update. Based on the music we’re listing to—at this very moment it’s Sei Still / Sei Still—and the bright eyes and quick step of the team, I would say we are looking out and we are not standing by. The team here are charging forward, loudspeaker finishes are looking better than ever and we have refined process and improved quality assurance systems and standards during this stupid-long year. Dozens of loudspeaker are now being completed and shipped each week. Yes, there are custom items that we are still struggling to keep up with, and this winter is likely to be the crux, or the bottom… We’re happy that we have kept things flowing and have managed to not substitute parts, compromise quality or close down during this shit. We have been hampered by our own internal protocols, rollercoaster labor with our response to symptoms of infection, a leniency for activism, and supply hiccups and setbacks. Still, SEI STILL!

In the last several months Zu has hired and trained Amy and Anne in the loudspeaker finish department, hired Nice back to head the gloss finishes, welcomed John and Mimi to Ogden brought a new five-by-ten router online and expanded electronics production and I have also found a loudspeaker design and engineering collaborator in Rick Henthorne.

2021. Yes please, and with it lots more fuzz., can you really have too much fuzzy, even hairy guitar?

Go check out Sei Still / Sei Still. Start with repeat engaged, or hire someone to keep flipping that record.
