Long Island Barbershop

How do you get kids into playback? (They already love sound and music.) Simple. Don’t kill the cool plus a bit of second-hand tone and real music. Meet Barbershop owner Ilya Iskhakov.

Ilya really cares about his customers, easy to see from the photos, and his place is anything but a tragically hip barbershop—a real Long Island locals place. And to say Ilya also cares about music is to cut it cheap. Barbershop playback system: classic receiver powering a new pair of Zu Omen DW speakers, with some wire to make it all work. Yamaha three-ways remain as they visually matchup with the classic Blown Away poster.
