Upgrade program and trade-in policy Zu products in good and usable condition purchased directly from us are eligible for trade-in or upgrade. Unless otherwise outlined or agreed to, we will give you 50% of the paid price of a Zu product purchased directly from us for credit toward the purchase of another Zu product. Trade-in credit is not redeemable in any form but product credit. Here is an example of how you might use this program. Say you sent back your Druid loudspeakers that were purchased for $3,600 back in 2001, for a credit toward a new pair of Presence loudspeakers. You would receive a $1,800 credit for the Druids, to be used in this case towards the purchase of the Presence. You pay for the difference and get the new Presence in your home. After a month or so you decide to take us up on our 60-day satisfaction guarantee and send back the Presence. We refund the cash paid amount and leave the $1,800 as credit for future use. Zu products not purchased directly from us do not qualify; nor does damaged or unusable product. Custom orders may qualify for the upgrade program if agreed to by Zu. When sending a Zu product back for trade-in, please repackage the complete product using its original packaging. If you have any questions about packaging please call or email us for assistance. Product damage caused from incorrect repackaging is not eligible for trade-in credit and the freight company may also reject your insurance claim. Until we have the product back in the shop and sign off that it is eligible for credit, the product is still your property and responsibility, we recommend you insure or declare the full value when shipping. We also recommend that you only ship with a freight company that has a good reputation and offers tracking and insurance for the full amount. Within the package you need to also include a copy of your Zu invoice, current contact information and how you would like to use your credit.
